Nintendo Announces Pikmin for Wii’s NEW PLAY CONTROL! series
I found this bit of news on dengeki. Today, Nintendo announced that the 2nd installment in their NEW PLAY CONTROL! series (Wii de asobu in Japanese) will be Pikmin and it will be released on Christmas.
You are Captain Olimar, and you’ve crash-landed on a planet. With the help of strange creatures called Pikmin, you must escape the planet within 30 days.

Point with your Wii remote and press A to throw a Pikmin. When they hit their target, the Pikmin will take various actions. There are three types of Pikmin- red, blue and yellow - and they have different abilities.

Dragon Quest X to be for the Wii
Square-Enix announced today that they are currently working on Dragon Quest X and that it will be released on the Nintendo Wii. Dragon Quest IX isn’t out yet, so maybe there won’t be such a long wait between Dragon Quest IX and Dragon Quest X. Crossing my fingers on that one.
